History West — Modernising a Heritage Brand for a New Generation

History West came to us looking to refresh their brand and communications, evolving a long-standing organisation into something more contemporary, accessible and engaging for a broader audience.

Working closely with a large and highly invested committee, we led a considered brand refresh that respected the organisation’s heritage while introducing greater clarity and consistency across all touchpoints. Like many committee-led projects, there were plenty of voices in the room. At times this brought complexity, but it also meant the final outcome was genuinely shaped by the community it represents.

Alongside the brand work, we partnered with Gabe Mach to deliver digital marketing workshops, helping the committee build confidence in how to roll out the brand across social, email and content. The focus was not just on how it looks, but how it works day to day.

The result is a practical, easy-to-use brand system that empowers the committee to manage communications with confidence, while positioning History West for its next chapter.
